Fixed Picture Windows

Fixed windows, also known as picture windows, are a type of window that is designed to provide a clear, unobstructed view of the outdoors while allowing natural light to enter a space.

Unlike operable windows, fixed windows cannot be opened or closed. They are permanently fixed in place and do not have any moving parts. They are available in a low-profile option to maximize glass or full profile to match the frame of an adjoining casement or awning window.

Unobstructed view

Fixed windows are typically large and feature expansive glass panes, offering a clear and uninterrupted view of the surrounding scenery.

Design flexibility

Fixed windows are available in various shapes and sizes, offering design flexibility. They can be customized to fit specific architectural styles and can be combined with other window types, such as casement or awning windows, to create unique configurations.

Natural light

Picture windows allow abundant natural light to enter a room, making the space feel brighter and more inviting. This can help reduce the need for artificial lighting during the daytime, resulting in potential energy savings.
